Larimer County Foster Parent Associaton - Presidents Todd & Alison Goin

    Larimer County is located in the Northern end of Colorado including Estes Park, Loveland and Fort Collins. There are approximately 110 county licensed foster homes currently.

    We keep in close contact with the Department of Social Services to make sure the foster children's and the foster family's needs are met. Meetings are held the 4th Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30. Children are welcome.

    Membership costs $30.00 for a calendar year. Included in membership are: Access to special needs funds earned through bingo, access to clothing and furniture bank, Summer picnics, Christmas party, access to the LCFPA's attorney concerning foster care issues or adoption issues, newsletters, and incredible support!

    Membership in the Boulder County Foster Parent Association (BCFPA) is open to all foster families, fost-adopt families, adoptive families, kinship families, and any other person or family that is interested in supporting the cause of foster and adoptive children.

    The major benefits of membership in the Association are:

    • Food Share-food purchased in bulk at a very low cost
    • Scholarships for Foster Children and Foster Parents
    • Funds for "extra" activities for foster children
    • Funds for household items needed for licensing/safety
    • Free/Discount training sessions
    • Social events with other foster and adoptive families
    • Discounted trip to Elitch Gardens every summer
    • Quarterly newsletter
    • Networking
    • Monthly meetings
    • "Support line" - to get in touch with other foster parents for advice
    • And . . . you have a voice in Association direction and decisions

Dues are $35 per year (May to May)

   Weld County Foster Parent Association

    Weld County is an extremely large county (land mass) covering areas extending north to the Wyoming border. Towns include Greeley, Ft. Lupton, Ault, Evans, Platteville, Hudson, and many other small towns. This association works closely with the Weld County Department of Social Services as well as many private agencies.

    Meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.

    Dues are $36 per year and include such benefits as grants, scholarships, and special needs funds, fun get-togethers, support, legislative updates and educational resources, a monthly newsletter, and access to an outstanding food bank resource!

    Many more benefits are being developed.

    We work closely with the Colorado State Foster Parent Association and work hard to bring state news affecting our members to light.
